My ability to look across large systems has allowed me to work with senior leaders in setting the strategy and solutions that address immediate challenges while positioning for the future. I always look for the best possible solution and work within the confines of resources (people, time and money), with recommendations often adopted by leaders for a successful outcome. Rapidly evolving markets require strategies that harness opportunities efficiently and effectively.
The whole is greater than the sum of its’ parts. Life is many nested systems which are constantly influencing one another for both positive and negative ripple effects.
I believe in a hybrid approach of leveraging the wisdom of traditional methodology whenever possible while innovating the aspects that are no longer relevant to solve today’s challenges. Life is in a constant state of change, we must adapt in order to be successful.
Although my experiences are grounded in engineering, IT and emerging technologies, I have the ability to bridge the gap between technology and business needs. Business has a tendency to thrive when the customer needs are at the forefront of every decision. Optimizing processes & systems in order to maximize value while reducing flaws not worth investing in is a balance every strategy must juggle.

To be clear, I don’t accept all clients, only situations where I feel I can be of benefit to you. I typically work for enterprise level clients with large cross functional teams. I also have experience in middle market businesses which often have the challenges of both enterprise level and small businesses combined.
Conservation, Ecology & the Impacts of Nature on Humanity
I began my volunteer work in the national parks system as a teenager. As an avid hiker I have participated in trail cleanups, docent led talks and worked to develop programs for water quality and monitoring. My recent activities have allowed me to spend the last few years working full time to develop a prototype which supports and allows indigenous plants & wildlife to thrive in spite of growing climate related challenges. It has been an incredible experience in my career not only to bridge that gap between volunteer and career but also in the journey itself. I have spent a lifetime growing and developing my talents, accelerating my learning curve so I could enter a client site acquiring vast knowledge in 30 days, and creating a balance between work, personal, relationships, fun, travel, etc. … in essence all that I am, not just one aspect of me.
Working in nature daily has taught me exponentially! My vision and designs for the prototype require multiyear plans and yet daily, monthly and seasonally I was challenged by record weather conditions, growing seasons not following traditional patterns, and the enormous needs of wildlife unable to keep up with climate changes. The prototype has been a success in spite of the challenges and yet ironically the real works begins. But beyond that, a pattern was emerging, one that I am still understanding and decoding. It is the fluidity in business I have seen for years now but amplified. How to hold to a plan when everything is constantly changing, shifting sideways and pivoting while still keeping aspects of the vision intact. It felt like body surfing to me. Not a tight control but a loose one that requires the ability to see critical components in spite of the “static” that is so much of life now.
I have always had the ability to take complicated, large-scale systems and see the critical points, optimize them and distill this information for others to understand. To give individuals the ability to see a career path based on their natural talents in a world where our options seem limited. Provide business the ability to manage short term solutions without sacrificing long term strategy or trajectory. Caretaking nature in spite of climate degradation because watching this decline is too hard to bear without doing something.
This journey has been a lifetime for me and will continue as long as I grace this earth. The world discovered how nature impacts humanity during COVID. It heals and supports us. That connection to the sanctuary of earth is for everyone no matter if you live in an urban, suburb or rural environment because they are all built on nature. I’m not sure what the future will hold but I feel compelled to share that the strategy and solutions which have served me throughout my life also serves nature.
